Low Pass Gate

from $20.00

pcb & panel $20 | kit $100 | built & tested $140

Low Pass Gate is based on the classic Buchla 292. This circuit is known for having an organic sound, great for modelling physical materials being struck or plucked. This module was designed to take advantage of the LPG’s response to being pinged with short triggers, and allows you to tweak and customize that response. These trigger parameters can also be modulated with CV for a natural-sounding accent control that is continuously variable - we call it Oomph. This added flexibility adds a whole new level of dynamic control to the classic LPG.

Available as a built module or a beginner-friendly DIY project. All components are through hole and easy to source. LDRs for vactrols can be purchased here.
